In Japan, everything is ment to ease everyday life, and to help people go with the flow. On the roads as well as on pedestrian sites, eveybody goes in the same direction and walks on the left side of the road. The pavement marking is mostly dedicated to foreigners. Usually crowded, the picture was taken during the state of emergency in March 2020. This empty corridor enables us to see how clean are public places. You will never meet bins on the streets or underground, as everyone is in charge of one’s own waste materials.
