1.Where can I find instructions on how to use my product?

Please note that our furniture is adapted for the indoors and should not be used outside. For the tables, low tables, end tables, night tables, luggage racks and consoles, we strongly suggest that you not climb on the furniture. You may knock it over or break it. Don’t place hot objects directly on the surface but use trivets instead. Don’t use sharp objects directly on the surface but instead use a cutting board.
Sunlight or strong artificial lamps like halogens will affect and modify the surface over time. Depending on the material, the furniture may lighten or darken. The material is not absolutely resistant to light. Thus we strongly advise that you do not expose the pieces to direct light of any kind. This is especially true for south-facing rooms with large windows that may contribute to discoloring the pieces after a few weeks. Also when you place table runners, vases or other decorative items on a surface, move them regularly. So the surface color doesn’t change.
The KUMO console should be attached to the wall for better use. The ANTOINETTE desk is designed to be placed against a wall.

 

2. Where can I find care instructions for my product?

– Care of marble and metal table tops:
Spots and dirt must be treated as quickly as possible. This can usually be done with warm water and a soft cloth. Then, dry off the surface immediately. If necessary, the surface can be cleaned with standard dish detergent. Care of carbon surfaces: Just dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth or wipe it with a slightly damp cloth.
Care of wood surfaces:
Do not place hot, heavy, sharp or damp objects directly on the surface since they may create rings or pressure points.
Clean off spilled liquids immediately. Don’t ever use pressure when rubbing an area. Don’t let liquid be absorbed into the wood to avoid spots. Not much everyday care is required. Just dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth or wipe it with a slightly damp cloth in the direction of the wood fibers.
Don’t use microfiber cloths, steam cleaning or cleaning pads since they all contain fine particles. That could damage the surface. Be sure that your dishes (plates, cups, …) are always polished, otherwise they can scratch the surface of your furniture.
The layer of varnish protects the material against outside influences while the tough base and varnish make the table more robust. The tough base and varnish make the table more robust. However we recommend that you wipe off spilled liquids as quickly as possible since they might attack and damage the protective layer.
If needed, varnished surfaces can be cleaned (not bleached) with water by adding a bit of simple, uncolored dishwashing liquid. Don’t use detergents, polishing products or abrasive agents. Then dry the surface immediately with a soft cloth.

 

3. I think I received a product that doesn’t conform to standards

To know if spare parts exist, please let us know your bill number, product reference and the specific piece you need to change (skid pads, …). 5. What guarantees apply to my product?

6. Can I modify my order if I already placed it?

You no longer have the possibility to directly modify your order. If you want or need to do so, please contact our after-sales service by telephone or e-mail. See point 4 for our e-mail address and telephone number. For any questions concerning your order, always give us your order number.

 

7. What should I do if the delivered merchandise is defective?
If the delivered merchandise is defective, please indicate it on the delivery slip when it is delivered and send us a copy of the slip. Then contact our after-sales service by telephone or e-mail. See point 4 for our e-mail address and telephone number. For any questions concerning your order, always give us your order number. Also please e-mail us photos showing the damage so we can analyze and understand it. We will then try to resolve the problem as soon as possible so you will be satisfied.

 

8. Will the merchandise be brought into my apartment?

The merchandise will be brought into your apartment. If you want it delivered outside your building, you can choose delivery by a OR another shipper.

 

9. Is the supplier responsible for getting rid of the packaging?

We will get rid of the packaging. However we suggest that you keep the boxes so you can return the merchandise in its original packaging if it is damaged or defective.
