1. Where can I find the usage instructions for my product?
Please note that our furniture is designed for general indoor use; it is not suitable for outdoor use. For tables, coffee tables, side tables, nightstands, luggage racks, and consoles, it is strictly prohibited to climb on these pieces of furniture. Doing so may result in tipping over or damaging the furniture. Do not place hot objects directly on surfaces; always use trivets. Avoid using sharp objects and instead use cutting boards.
Sunlight and strong artificial light, such as halogen lamps, can affect and alter the surface of your furniture over time. Depending on the material, the furniture may lighten or darken. Absolute resistance to light exposure can never be achieved. It is therefore important to protect your furniture by avoiding direct light exposure. This is particularly relevant for south-facing rooms with large windows, where discoloration can occur within weeks. Be cautious when placing table runners, vases, or other decorative items on a table. If their placement is not changed regularly, differences in color may appear on the surface.
For the KUMO console, it is recommended to secure it to the wall for optimal use. The ANTOINETTE desk is designed to be positioned against a wall.
2. Where can I find the care instructions for my product?
Caring for marble and metal tabletops: Stains and dirt should be addressed as soon as possible. Most can be cleaned with warm water and a soft cloth. The surface should then be dried. If necessary, the surface can be cleaned with a basic dishwashing detergent available in supermarkets. Caring for carbon-fiber parts requires the use of soft, lint-free cloths, and glass cleaner can be used to remove dust and fingerprints.
Caring for wooden tabletops: Do not place hot, heavy, sharp, or wet objects directly on the table, as they can create marks or pressure points. Spilled liquids should be cleaned immediately. Never scrub an area with pressure. Prevent liquids from seeping into the wood to avoid stains. Daily maintenance is simple: dust with a soft, dry cloth or wipe with a slightly damp cloth in the direction of the wood grain.
Avoid microfiber cloths, steam cleaners, or cleaning erasers, as these contain fine particles that could damage the surface. Ensure your dishware (plates, cups, etc.) is always polished to prevent scratches on the surface.
The varnish layer protects the material from external influences. The hard base and varnish make the table more robust. However, spilled liquids should be wiped up as quickly as possible to prevent them from damaging the protective layer.
If needed, varnished surfaces can be cleaned (without bleach additives) with water and a small amount of neutral dishwashing liquid (without coloring). Do not use detergents, polish, or abrasive agents. Dry the surface with a soft cloth afterward.
