Description
Care of metal trays: stains and dirt should be removed as soon as possible. This can usually be cleaned with lukewarm water and a soft cloth. The surface should then be dried. If necessary, the surface can be cleaned with a basic washing-up liquid available from supermarkets.
Carbon parts can be cleaned using soft, lint-free cloths, and glass cleaner can be applied to remove dust and fingerprints.
Care of wooden parts: please do not place hot, heavy, sharp or damp objects directly on your furniture, as they may create edges or pressure points.
Spilled liquids should be cleaned up immediately.Never rub an area by applying pressure. To avoid staining, do not allow liquids to penetrate the wood. Daily maintenance does not require much effort. Simply dust with a soft, dry cloth or wipe with a slightly damp cloth in the direction of the wood grain.
Do not use microfibre cloths, steam cleaners or cleaning rubber, which contain fine particles. This could damage the surface. Make sure that your crockery (plates, cups, etc.) is always polished, otherwise it could leave scratches on the surface of your furniture.
The varnish layer protects the material from external influences. The hard base and varnish make the table more robust. It is nevertheless advisable to wipe up any spilt liquids as quickly as possible, otherwise they may attack and damage the protective layer.
If necessary, varnished surfaces can be cleaned (without bleaching additives) with water and a little neutral washing-up liquid (without colouring). Do not use detergents, polishes or abrasives. Then dry the surface with a soft cloth.
